By Road

From London

Follow the A3 (Junction 10 on the M25) south towards Guildford. About 3 miles past Guildford, at the Milford turning, take the A283 to Petworth, then the A285 to Chichester for about 6 miles.

From the West

Follow the A27 to Chichester. At Chichester, stay on the A27 bypass/ring road. After the only set of traffic lights, take the second exit at the next roundabout signposted Goodwood. At the next roundabout take the second exit.

200 yards after the Goodwood Motor Circuit & Aerodrome entrance, straight over at the roundabout and follow the road up to the Racecourse. On some race days there will be diversions through Goodwood Estate, please follow the signage.

From the East

Follow the A27 to Chichester, exiting at the A285 Junction. When exiting at the A285, continue North and take the second left, signposted New Road. Follow New Road to the next roundabout and take the third exit onto Kennel Hill, which will take you up to the racecourse.

Please turn off your Satnav when approaching Chichester and follow sign postage to Goodwood Racecourse using the major highway. We do ask that you respect the local villages in the surrounding area.

Parking

Parking is available for all enclosures in Car Park 9 (Free) and Car Park 8 (£5 in advance or on the day, £15 for Qatar Goodwood Festival). Please follow the road signs on the day for directions.

Taxi pick-up and drop off

A taxi Pick-Up and Drop-Off rank for Gordon and Lennox Enclosure guests is located at the East Entrance next to the Bus Terminus, just off Selhurst Park road.

Pick-Up and Drop-Off for Richmond Enclosure guests is located at the West Entrance, off Kennel Hill road.

By Bus

From Chichester Railway Station  

The 900 bus service operates from Chichester Train Station (North Car Park) to the racecourse each raceday. It departs at 15 and 45 minutes past the hour, from 10.15am until 1.15pm. 

Please note there is a small charge during Qatar Goodwood Festival.

Three Friday Nights

If you are planning a visit to Goodwood Racecourse for any of our Three Friday Nights dates, Stagecoach offers a free bus service to and from Arundel, Bognor Regis, Chichester, Gosport, Fareham, Portsmouth, Fratton, Petersfield, Midhurst and Petworth.

Rail services

The nearest railway station is Chichester and trains run regularly from London Victoria. There are also services from Brighton and Portsmouth. Taxis and regular shuttle buses are available at the station.
