The Studio
An oasis of calm amidst the excitement and bustle at Goodwoof is The Studio. Here owners and their dogs can really relax as they enjoy free sessions in dog yoga (DOGA), sound bathing, reiki and the absolute bliss of dog massage. Sessions, which are included in the price of your admission ticket, run all day throughout the weekend. They are extremely popular so it’s advisable to head to The Studio as soon as you arrive at Goodwoof and book yourselves on to the classes which interest you. Previous experts include Mahny Djahanguiri, the UK and Europe’s leading founder and author of DOGA - Yoga for you and your Dog.
Canicross UK
Canicross UK primarily provide Canicross training across the country. They offer a variety of training classes ranging from absolute beginners, right up to race training and coaching. So what is Canicross? In short it is trail running with your dog (or dogs), where the runner wears a special running belt, attached to a bungee line to their dog, who wears a specifically designed pulling harness. It is a team sport where runner and dog work together. Any runner, or hiker can take part, and most dog breeds can participate too! We actively encourage new beginners to try this fun and inclusive sport!
Agility
Highdown Agility is a versatile club that provides classes for those doing agility for fun and the social, as well as those with more competitive ambitions. Many members have celebrated winning up grades at Kennel Club competitions over the past year. As well as this, the junior members have had a lot of success, with two competing and placing at Crufts 2025 with their dogs, and who are now awaiting news as to whether they will be selected for the Junior Team GB travelling to Portugal in July for the Junior Agility World Championships!
Tarot Card Reading
Tarot card reading for your dog gives owners the exciting opportunity to help understand how their faithful friends are feeling through the interpretation of different cards and crystal healing. Previous experts have included Fiona McInroy, a tarot card reader, animal healer and reiki master and Sally Page, psychic and tarot card reader.
Gundog Trials
Stretched out across the Duchess paddocks around The Kennels at Goodwoof, visitors can watch the mesmerising work of top-level field and trail working dogs. These sheep and gundogs are at the very pinnacle of their competitive working lives and are incredible to watch in action. Goodwoof’s Gundog curator, David Latham has been England's Gundog Retriever Captain since 2015.
Sheepdog Trials
Visitors can watch the mesmerising work of top-level field and trail working dogs throughout the weekend. These sheep and gundogs are at the very pinnacle of their competitive working lives and are incredible to watch in action. This area will provide plenty of seating to watch the competitions unfold and many places to eat and drink nearby. Previous experts include former world champion Aled Owen and international supreme singles and doubles champion Kevin Evans.
To this day, dogs can stay at the Hotel, accompany their owners in the restaurants, and even join our Members’ clubhouse, The Kennels. We thought that it was only fitting to dedicate an entire event to them, just as we do with cars and horses at our other flagship meetings.
