It’s the first weekend of March, which can mean only one thing… Breakfast Club is back! Yes, it might be cold and wet, but that hasn’t stopped hundreds of wagons rolling through the Motor Circuit’s gates.
What have we had? Well, pretty much everything. As you’d expect there’s a solid line-up of fast Audis, from S4s to RS4s, S6s and RS6s, as well as a gorgeous Audi 100 estate. There’s a lovely little collection of Volvos, too, ranging from the estate-icon 850 T5-R and the Amazon estate to the more recent V60 Polestar.
A walk along the grid reveals a duo of Subaru Forester STis and a couple of BMW E61 M5s, as well as a unique Tesla Model S estate. Yes, you read that correctly, a Tesla Model S estate.
Waving the flag for classic British machinery were two Morris Travellers and a lone Mini Traveller. Wood panelling on the outside of an estate should still be a thing.
To list every car here would be silly, but it’s fair to say that, despite the low temperature and the horizontal rain, the first Breakfast Club of 2019 hasn’t disappointed. Here’s to another fantastic year of Breakfast Clubs!
