At every Breakfast Club this year we’re putting on a small display of the cars owned by members of the Goodwood Road Racing Club. These displays showcase just how wide and varied the membership are, meaning that you’re as likely to see a Mini as a McLaren F1 in the car park when our members are around.
Why do I pick those two cars? Well, quite simply because at Rule Britannia Sunday the GRRC showcase includes both McLaren GTR Longtail chassis #28R and a Mini GP. Two more different cars it’s quite hard to imagine.
That’s not all in this display to wonder at though, take the Ronart, one of only three ever made, or the rather delightful Jenson Interceptor – parked right next to a towering Bentley Bentayga for a perfect juxtaposition.
Nearby is the most purple BAC Mono you’ve ever seen, in fact quite possibly the most purple car you’ve ever seen, as well as a delightful Austin Healey, a Series Land Rover, an original Mini and even a Lotus Elise 340R. Quite the amazing showcase it is.
If that’s piqued your interest in the GRRC you can find out more about becoming a part of our community by clicking here.
