At every Breakfast Club, members of our exclusive Goodwood Road Racing Club bring cars from their spectacular collections that best suit the prevailing theme. Called the GRRC Showcase, these examples are positioned outside the Jackie Stewart Pavilion and this Sunday, are nothing less than exemplary of the best of Vee Power.
How else to describe a Ferrari LaFerrari, with its Tipo F140 V12. What has to be one of the all-time great road-going internal combustion engines, has been in service in Maranello's strongest stallions for over 20 years. Introduced in the Enzo in 2002, it's powered everything from the FF to the Daytona SP3 since, and was hybridised in the LaFerrari.
Alongside it were the howling V10 E60 generation BMW M5, a thundering 1957 V8 Cadillac and a lovely AC 3000 ME. The latest greatest track car extraordinaire from Lamborghini made the ranks too. The Huracan STO, like the LaFerrari, features a long-serving high-revving howler of a motor in its 5.2-litre V10, with 640PS (471kW) going exclusively to the rear wheels. What's your pick of the GRRC Showcase?
If you’d like to have the opportunity for your car to be on display in the GRRC Showcase, or if you’d like to come along to the next GRRC Breakfast Club, all you need to do is join the GRRC!
