The AGTZ Twin Tail, Zagato’s coachbuilt Alpine A110, will make its dynamic debut at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard.
Chassis #00 will be shown in the paddock and take to the Hill Thursday through to Sunday, including in an opening day parade with the A220 chassis #1731, which inspired Zagato’s creation.
A completely resculpted Alpine A110 with a body made entirely from carbon fibre, the Twin Tail adds 200mm of (removable) rump to a standard A110 chassis. Power comes from the same mid-mounted, turbocharged 1.8-litre fitted to the regular Alpine, producing up to 300PS (221kW) and 320Nm (236lb ft) of torque for 0-62mph in under five seconds.
Zagato will make just 19 examples of cars, all carrying a price tag of no less than £665,000.
As for Alpine, its presence at the Festival of Speed is far-reaching, including the dynamic debut of the A290, as well participating in the Formula 1 celebrations, where three of their young drivers will each take to the Hill over the four days.
The 2024 Festival of Speed takes place on 11th-14th July. Only Thursday general admission tickets remain, with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday tickets now sold out, although a limited number of hospitality packages for all days are still available. Tickets and packages can be purchased from £70.
