FOS 2021 entry list announced

02nd July 2021
Ben Miles

The Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard is a matter of days away (or if you read this between 8th and 11th July, it’s on now), so we thought it was about time we let you know what incredible cars and awesome drivers, will be appearing on the Hill in 2021.

Obviously it’s headlined by some of the modern F1 cars, including two of the most up to date ever seen on the Hill: 2019’s Mercedes-AMG F1 W10 and 2017’s Ferrari SF70H, as well as cars from Williams, McLaren and Red Bull.

But away from the headline F1 cars there are gems throughout the field. Check out, for example, Sebastien Loeb’s 2004 championship winning WRC Citroën C4, or the brand-new Glickenhaus SCG 007 LMH, which is not only going to be running up the Hill, but tackling the Timed Shootout on Sunday in the hands of our outright Hill record holder, Romain Dumas.

Also set to compete in the timed shootout this year is the very Rondeau that won Le Mans in 1979, in the hands of none-other than Tom Kristensen himself, as well as the legendary Ferrari 250 GT Breadvan, driven by our own Emanuele Pirro, and previous winner Justin Law in his Jaguar XJR12D.

You really can click on any page of the entry list (which runs to 22 pages) and find a gem, from the BRM Grand Prix winners to the celebration of Tyrrell. There’s even the stars of Drift, including multiple Formula Drift champion James Dean, going for our first Driftkhana competition on the Hill. If you don’t know what Driftkhana is, you can find out here with our quick guide from SpeedWeek presented by Mastercard.

Penske is celebrated with an incredible line-up of cars including the mighty PC-23, while Mario Andretti will be driving some of his own cars up the Hill as part of our batch looking back at his career.

For fans of two wheels we have a celebration of everything Suzuki in Grand Prix racing, as well as modern race bikes and road going superbikes. And, of course, there’s the road cars and supercars in Batch 6, more details of which you can find in our handy guide article right here.

Remember, the entry list is provisional, and can change right up to, and including, the event days, so remember to check back every now and then to see if thangs have changed.
