Gallery: Cartier Style et Luxe at the 2022 Festival of Speed

Exploring around the corner of Goodwood House, beneath the gaze of the Central Feature, the Cartier lawn offers a moment of respite and reflection in the presence of the world’s most head-turning, rare and intriguing cars. 

A celebration of unique automotive design and exquisite restoration, the scope of beauty on display this year will take some beating at future events. From a gaggle of Mclaren F1s, including a road-registered 1995 GTR and a prototype 1997 GTR ‘Longtail’. All the way back to a 1930s Austin 7 fitted with a standard Army Wireless No.1 radio set and antenna piercing the sky. It is one of two examples left on the entire planet. 

Throw in other stunners including a Lancia Integrale EVO 2 and a Ferrari 275 GTB/4 sat prim and proper atop the freshly mown grass of this concours d'elegance, and we’d wager there’s no better garden to be enjoying anywhere in the world.
