Gallery: Rocking down to Electric Avenue

10th July 2021

Announcing itself to the throngs of fans for the very first time at the 2021 Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard is a new paddock hereby known as Electric Avenue – The Road To 2030 presented by Sky Zero and powered by Britishvolt. Showcasing the very latest in EV technology from nifty hatchbacks to serious supercars and everything in between, this immediate and interactive part of the site is already a who’s who of marques from all over the world.

As a major new attraction, Electric Avenue has been specifically designed to encourage a lasting legacy of positive change created by EV technologies, enabling visitors to explore the approaching electric way of life while learning about the significant benefits associated with switching to electric before the UK’s 2030 deadline.

Situated between Future Lab and the First Glance Paddock, the Duke of Richmond announced its arrival this weekend and said: “The Festival of Speed has always taken a defining position on cutting-edge technology and the future of mobility, and we have long championed electric, connected and autonomous vehicles. I am delighted that Electric Avenue – The Road to 2030 presented by Sky Zero will enable visitors to explore the future of mobility for themselves. I am also immensely grateful to Sky Zero for joining us in this new venture and to our automotive partners for their continued support of the Festival of Speed.”

We sent our photographers along to capture what’s been going on. Enjoy the gallery.
