Gallery: Valentino Rossi at the Festival of Speed

24th April 2020
Ben Miles

We called a Doctor and one came! 2015 was the year when Valentino Rossi made a stunning debut at the Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard.

Straight from a winning run in the Dutch TT at Assen the day before coming to Goodwood, the nine-time MotoGP champion wowed the crowds on a specially liveried Yamaha YZR-M1.

But, that wouldn’t be the end of Vale’s day in West Sussex, as he headed back onto the hillclimb three more times – on four wheels. He drove the following legendary cars: the Le Mans winning Mazda 787B, Lancia Delta S4 and Derek Bell’s Porsche 962. What a day. What a man.
