How to watch the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed

17th June 2022
Ben Miles

The Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard begins on 23rd June for four days of incredible motorsport action at Goodwood. The best way to watch all the action is, of course, from track side, but if you’ve not been fortunate enough to get a ticket, here is how you can watch the Festival from home.

Will the Festival of Speed be live streamed?

Yes, the 2022 Festival of Speed will be streamed live in full. The best way to watch the action will be right here on Goodwood Road & Racing, where you’ll be able to find the live stream right at the top of the homepage all weekend. Here you’ll also quickly find curated content from the weekend as well as the timetable and entry list, all collated in the same place so you can easily find them. In fact you can find the stream page right here now to bookmark.

Can I find the Festival stream on social media?

Yes. While you won’t get as much information as you would here on GRR, we will be streaming the Festival of Speed in full on both YouTube and Facebook. On Facebook you’ll find the stream, split into various sections, on our three channels – Festival of Speed, Revival and GRR – and on YouTube it’ll be here on our channel.

Are there any streams other than the hillclimb?

There are two extra streams aside from the main Festival of Speed live stream. A full steam of the Forest Rally Stage and a no commentary version of the main live feed, allowing you to hear just the pure car sounds as they head up the Goodwood Hill. These two extra streams will be available on GRR for free exclusively for members of the GRRC community.

Will the Festival of Speed be on TV?

On both Saturday and Sunday a portion of the Festival of Speed will be broadcast live on ITV1. On Saturday this will begin at 4pm BST and finish at 5.30pm – to include qualifying for the Timed Shootout and Saturday’s Driftkhana runs. Sunday’s live broadcast will take place from 3pm to 5pm, again on ITV1, featuring the main Timed Shootout, F1 cars and the Forest Rally Stage Shootout.

The Shootout is also set to be broadcast on Sky Sports F1, details of that broadcast will follow later, along with the times for highlights shows on ITV later in the week.
