Max Verstappen will be heading to Goodwood for the 2024 Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard to take part in Red Bull Racing’s 20th anniversary celebrations alongside his Formula 1 team-mate Sergio Perez.

This is sure to be one of the biggest moments in the history of the Festival of Speed as reigning three-time world champion Verstappen takes to the famous Goodwood Hill, accompanied by several other F1 stars.

Red Bull’s current F1 line-up will be joined on Sunday at the Festival of Speed by a host of Red Bull alumni including the team’s original drivers from 2005, David Coulthard and Christian Klien. Also present will be multi-time grand prix winners Daniel Ricciardo and Mark Webber, and each driver will be in action at the wheel of a Red Bull F1 car. Christian Horner, Red Bull Racing Team Principal and CEO, will also be suiting up for a run up the hillclimb.

It's not just a great class of Red Bull drivers either. The cars they will be driving are pretty special as well. The list begins fittingly with the RB1, Red Bull Racing’s first F1 car, which Klien will be driving. Webber will climb into the cockpit of the RB6, the winner of Red Bull’s first world championships in 2010. Ricciardo will take the RB7 up the Hill, Horner the RB8 and Coulthard the RB9, in what will be a unique showcase of Red Bull’s incredible run of four successive drivers’ and constructors’ championship doubles from 2010-2013.

Verstappen, who will be making his Festival of Speed debut, will be reunited with his RB16B, the car that he drove to his first world championship triumph in that memorable 2021 season, and Sergio Perez will get back behind the wheel of the Red Bull RB19, one of the most dominant F1 cars of all time.

It’s a selection of cars that spans several eras of F1, from the Cosworth V10-engined RB1 to the V8 blown-diffuser of the RB7, to the V6-hybrid engines of the present day, and a showcase of the progress that has been made by a team spearheaded by legendary designer Adrian Newey.

This is set to be the largest celebration of an F1 team we’ve ever seen at the Festival of Speed, and Sunday 14th July will be the climax to a long weekend that will also see Red Bull take the covers off its new RB17 hypercar on Friday 12th July.

Red Bull’s celebrations will culminate in a balcony moment to commemorate the legacy of Red Bull Racing that will see many of the team’s drivers and personnel brought together at Goodwood House. If you’re lucky enough to have a ticket for Sunday at the Festival of Speed, this will be a moment you do not want to miss.

“In its 31-year history, this is the first time that the Festival of Speed has celebrated a Formula 1 team on this scale,” said The Duke of Richmond, founder of the Festival of Speed. “To have both the current drivers – not to mention the reigning world champion – the CEO and Team Principal, as well as team icons, is fantastic.”

Red Bull Racing joined the F1 grid in 2005 after purchasing the Jaguar team, and in the years since then its tally of 119 grand prix wins is more than any other team. To date, Red Bull has won seven world drivers’ titles and six constructors’ titles and currently leads the 2024 standings with six wins from the first nine races.

Only Thursday general admission tickets remain, with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday tickets now sold out, although a limited number of hospitality packages for all days are still available. Tickets and packages can be purchased from £70.
