The first day at the Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard is always packed full of exciting new car launches and first glances, and the 2022 Festival was no different. We've had some incredible cars make their debuts on the Hill so far, and there's more to come, too.

To start the day, we had the long-awaited dynamic debut of the BMW M3 Touring, driven so enthusiastically up the Hill by the Duke of Richmond himself, and it paved the way for what was a quite brilliant day of automotive pageantry.

There was the Mercedes-AMG One, with it's Formula 1-derived 1.6-litre V6 engine. Ferrari sent its SP3 Daytona up the Hill, and there were dynamic debuts for the likes of the Czinger 21C and the Prodrive P25 Subaru Impreza 22B restomod.

It's also impossible not to mention the quite ridiculous 2,000PS (1,471kW) Ford Electric SuperVan that flew up the Hill on this world debut. Stay tuned for more action from the 2022 Festival of Speed.
