If you’re a lover of all things V12, the Aston Martin Valkyrie at the 2021 Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard must have been a highlight, it’s 6.5-litre, Cosworth-designed V12 engine revving all the way out to its 11,100rpm limit, blasting up the Hill with Aston Le Mans hero Darren Turner at the wheel. We’ve published a video of it before, but with the 2022 Festival not far away and the excitement building, we couldn’t help but dig out more footage of the car being absolutely thrashed.
There’s not much else we can say here – it is absolutely wild, and crazy to think that this is a road car. What’s fun is that in this clip, just as the car passes Goodwood House, you can clearly hear someone standing near to the microphone laughing at the shear ridiculousness of the V12’s shriek. What a car.
What’s more, Aston Martin has announced the Valkyrie will be returning to the Festival of Speed in 2022, so don’t miss out on another fantastic opportunity to hear that gorgeous V12 scream.
