You know when people say you should only have good things in moderation? Well Travis Pastrana honing his way up the Goodwood Hill is a very good thing and, I’m sorry, but we’re not going to have it in moderation. Our lives can only be enriched by such loud, fast and sideways content.
Pastrana was a Goodwood newbie at the 2021 Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard, rocking up in his truly ridiculous active aero, 862PS (634kW) Subaru Impreza WRX Gymkhana car. He threw caution to the wind, though, and was in contention for the top time of the weekend, a title that was snatched away by Rob Bell in the unhinged McLaren 702 GT3X. We enjoyed Pastrana’s blasts so much, though, we decided they were worthy of a video all to themselves. So here they are, every one of Pastrana’s runs, in the dry and the wet, including his final run in the Timed Shootout where he takes a moment to give a thumbs up to the onboard camera while he steams past Goodwood House. What an absolute legend.
