Described as “The next-generation hybrid supercar. A distillation of everything we've ever learned” by McLaren Automotive CEO Mike Flewitt, the all-new Artura was always going to be a car to attract significant interest.

Making its world debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard, the plug-in hybrid McLaren Artura deploys its ultra-light engineering to create a reportedly sublime driving experience full of agility and performance. As we’ve come to expect from the Woking-based marque. What’s new here however is the electrified power unit and performance.

An all-new twin turbocharged V6 petrol engine combined with an electric motor generates 680PS (500kW). And when you consider its weighs just 1,498Kg with its McLaren Carbon Fibre Lightweight Architecture (MCLA), the Artura is set to be a real whippet. Capable of a 205mph top speed with a 0-62mph acceleration time of just 3.0 seconds. Flat out on the Hill? You bet.
