Is there a more iconic car at the 2015 Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard than the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR number 722? We at GRR are almost sure there isn’t, and seeing the man who drove it to the most famous race victory of them all sat in the drivers seat just makes it all the more special.
Mercedes has brought a never-before-seen collection of 300 SLRs to the Festival of Speed this year, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Sir Stirling’s Mille Miglia victory in 1955.
