Adam Smalley has been an absolute champ (and a demon) of the Hill in his GT3 R recently, as we showed in yesterday, but way back when, we got one of the best runs we’ve ever seen courtesy of a near-priceless Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe.
Following an absolutely roaring snaking burnout, the Cobra is thrown up the Hill, sliding around the first few corners and slingshotting up on full attack. Seeing such a historically significant and special machine being shown aggression it hadn’t seen since it was new. Even after the hooliganism, the rest of the Hill was taken at serious pace.
Needless to say we’re still reeling from an epic 2023 edition of the Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard but even with the memories of this year being fresh in our minds, we’re been looking back at past epic runs and surely, this is one of the best. Such a cool thing, that we’d love to see make a return. Here's hoping that's at the 2024 Festival of Speed.
