Video: Sunday's best Festival of Speed hillclimb runs

12th July 2021

Here's the very best of the action from Sunday at the Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard. It's the day that features the Timed Shootout, but it wasn't just runs from the race against the clock that make the cut in this video.

A whole variety of machines were let loose. Historic racing cars included legends like the Lotus Type 79 and McLaren F1 GTR, the roster of drifers including the tyre-smoking Steve Biagioni and the Mini 1275 GT of Nick Swift made a dramatic three-wheeling attack of the first corner. Rob Bell's precision in the McLaren 720S GT3X is well worth seeing too – just look how close the mirror gets to the straw bales.
