Video: Two minutes straight of FOS burnouts

28th July 2020

It may only be Tuesday, but we bet you’re already in need of a boost to get you through the week. So, we thought we’d dish up a dose of delightfully smoky startline action, featuring countless racing legends in a high rev burnout competition.

With everything from modern F1 cars to 1980s' Group C endurance sportscars (we see you Silk Cut Jaguar), a handful of furious motorcycles and even a hopping lowrider, there’s something for everyone.

Filmed at the Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard back in 2014, this epic two-minute long clip is likely to divide opinion, however… From the low, rumbling burnouts to the high-pitched screams as the tyres slip, which sounds the best?
