Less than 24 hours, that’s how long there is left until the 2019 Goodwood Revival. In fact by the time many of you read this we’ll have transitioned into live mode, the stream will be live, the blog updated and everything will be go.
For now though, there is what couldn’t be described as calm, but could be called a feverish pit of excitement. The final touches are being added to the plethora of temporary buildings that the Goodwood Motor Circuit sprouts for the Revival, cars are being put into their paddocks and the small surprises we shouldn’t mention until tomorrow, are being put in place.
It’s really one of the most exciting days of the year, as hordes of Ferraris (250 GT SWB, GTO, 1512) loads of Astons (DB3, DB3S, DBR1, DB4) and more begin to fill the paddock spaces which have fallen relatively quiet since the Members’ Meeting way back in April. It’s enough to get your heart pumping a little bit faster than it was no, a lot faster.
So without more waffle, here’s some pictures of those stunning machines, taken among the hustle and bustle of build-up day. It’s manic, exciting, wonderful fun.
