The new MINI Cooper and Countryman will debut at the Revival tomorrow, giving homegrown customers their first opportunity to see the latest models’ contemporary new styling up close.
Replacing the old 3-door, the Cooper sports a nine-inch OLED display and a paired back “digitally focussed” interior full of high-quality textiles. It's offered in petrol or, with a range of between 190 and 249 miles, in electric form. Petrol-powered and more-door versions of the Cooper are to follow next year, with the Cooper Electric reaching its first customers in May
The new Countryman will also be available as a petrol or, for the first time, electric with a similar interior design to its little brother. It has significantly more interior space than before and Level 2 autonomous driving that can independently steer the car onto motorway slip roads based on sat-nav directions.
The new MINIs will be on show at Revival’s Cooper’s retro supermarket, located within the Earls Court Motor Show. There, you’ll find prize giveaways and shelves filled with products like Spikes Kibble – a nod to the canine avatar on the MINI’s new infotainment screen – knitted goods that point to the cars’ fabric-heavy interiors and Countryman Crunch cereal, which we’ll leave you to work out.
The cars will be on show throughout Revival, which runs from 8th-10th September.
