Meyers Manx’s new 2.0 EV pre-production dune buggy will make its European debut at the 2024 Goodwood Revival.
The marque hails this new model as the “future of the brand,” reimagined as an electric vehicle that shows the future is green.
Honouring the legacy of the Bruce Meyers original, the buggy’s iconic design is retained, blended with tough electrical internals.
“Goodwood Revival is a remarkable stage for showcasing our vision,” said Meyers Manx chairman, Phillip Sarofim. “We’re not just unveiling the new 2.0 EV; we’re presenting a philosophy – where the legacy of the past is reimagined with the innovation of the future.
“I’m thrilled to share our 2.0 EV Pre-production model, especially as it demonstrates our relentless pursuit of blending classic design with modern technology.”
Meyers Manx’s presence at the 2024 Revival will be strongly felt, leading the opening track parade each morning of the event with Steve McQueen’s car from the 1968 film The Thomas Crown Affair. Moreover, there is also an original dune buggy from 1966 in the Bohnams|Cars Revival sale, so this year’s event truly marks a blend between Meyers Manx’s past and future.
