Always a day of mixed emotions, is Sunday at the Goodwood Revival. On the one hand it’s our grand crescendo, both for the event and for a year of flagship historic motorsport events. We go out with a bang, with our thundering RAC TT Celebration the crown jewel of the weekend. On the other, there’s a feeling of tension and a bit of glumness as the nagging feeling that it’d all be over soon crept in.
Nevertheless, that feeling on helped to ensure that we enjoyed the day all the more as Sunday at the Revival kicked off with spritely action from the Formula Juniors in the Chichester Cup. That was followed by F1 action in the Richmond and Gordon Trophies, and the bikes of the Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy. The weekend was topped off by the beautiful sportscars in the Sussex Trophy and the second part two of the St. Mary’s Trophy presented by Motul.
