Ever wondered what a hotlap with a three-time Le Mans winner and current Formula E racer would be like? Well, look no further, and climb into the cockpit of this 1965 AC Cobra for an epic battle during the RAC TT Celebration on the Sunday of the 2019 Goodwood Revival.
The TT Celebration was one of the most exciting races of the weekend, with a grid full of early '60’s legends – TVR Griffiths, Lightweight E-types, and even a Bizzarrini 5300 GT. But nothing could quite match the pace of Andre Lotterer and his co-driver Christopher Wilson, with their Cobra crossing the finish line a whole 12 seconds ahead of the second place car.
Even with Lotterer's Le Mans success, and how good he has been in any car he's taken the time to drive, this little battle serves as a further reminder of just how confident, skillful and brave Lotterer is behind the wheel. Bravo, sir.
