Sir Jack Brabham has to be one of the most inspiring and multi-talented names in the history of motor racing, putting his keen eye and developmental genius to work in a broad spectrum of motorsport disciplines. As a driver and as an engineer, the range of ability he had was unprecedented.
What achievement of many could we cite to sum up this all-round motorsport genius? How about an F1 World Championship secured with a car bearing his own name. Powerhouses like this come once every other generation, and as such his legacy and his achievements must be commensurately celebrated. That’s why, on the 50th anniversary year of his 1966 driver’s championship win, Revival 2016 played host to the Jack Brabham Tribute track parade. Over 31 cars driven by Brabham, from single-seaters to sportscars, from his roots through to machinery conceived under and fielded by the Brabham Racing Team.
