The RAC TT Celebration is the Blue Riband race of the entire Goodwood Revival weekend with the loudest cars and the biggest names behind the wheel. This year the driver line-up featured a former F1 World Champion competing at his very first Revival.
Jenson Button was sharing the driving duties of a 1964 AC Cobra with best pal Alex Buncombe, and it would be fair to say that many in the crowd were waiting to see how the modern single-seater ace would cope with the old fashioned, brutal Cobra. He wasn’t Formula 1 driver in the field either as Martin Brundle was behind the wheel of another Cobra while his sportscar-racer son Alex was sharing an E-type.
