This is one of the many unique sights we often come across here at Goodwood. Patrick Blakeney-Edwards’ Frazer Nash ‘Owlet’ getting thrown around the Motor Circuit at the 2021 Revival.
It’s a 1928 chain-driven saloon that certainly doesn’t look like it would be fit to be driven in this manner around a race track, and yet seen here in the hands of Nick Swift it appears to have the balance and agility of a car 50 years its junior.
This car is quite something to look at, with that alarming positive camber on the front wheels and the incredibly narrow track at the rear, not to mention those two tiny back windows which do indeed give it an owl-ish appearance from behind. We think it might be impossible not to enjoy this extraordinary lap of Goodwood.
