Welcome to another day of Goodwood SpeedWeek presented by Mastercard. Already one-third of the way through the event, teams, drivers and owners were up with the larks making preparations for another busy day.
As an October event, the weather was always a gamble, but with the Goodwood Gods smiling down, it was another brisk yet beautiful start to proceedings, with golden autumnal light, crunching leaves and early morning mist greeting us all at the circuit.
The morning belonged to the entrants involved in the St. Mary’s Trophy and the Whitsun Trophy, who were all out practicing before the 10am coffee.
More notable spots on our morning stroll were a number of the 70 Years of Formula 1 field preparing for another screaming demonstration, along with many of the thoroughbreds set to take on the inaugural Stirling Moss Memorial Trophy. A race which is without doubt set to be one of Goodwood's most moving and memorable races for many a year in honor of our much-missed friend.
Enjoy the gallery, settle in to the stream, and be sure to join us for another non-stop day of motoring excellence.
