I mean really, where do you start with the Revival’s greatest cars? Name a valuable classic racer, it’s probably been to the Goodwood Revival. Name a rare classic racer, it’s probably been to the Goodwood Revival. Suffice to say there’s plenty of great motors to choose from.
Day three of our Revival Greats stream was all about the cars, and from the Ferraris of the 2015 Lavant Cup (there 26 magical 1950s Ferraris), to the gorgeous sportscars of the 2012 Sussex Trophy, we couldn’t have been happier with what we saw. It’s been a day of, really, a chance to take stock of just how lucky we are to see these amazing machines race so many years after they first took to the track. Moreover, they’re racing at Goodwood, a track with so much history and one that saw so many incredible battles in period.
There might not have been a Revival in 2020 but to look back at some of our favourite moments and at some of our favourite cars, well, it’s still been one enjoyable weekend.
To top it off, it’s whet our appetite for Goodwood SpeedWeek in October, a once-in-a-lifetime event that’ll be broadcast live and for free in its entirety on GRR. We simply cannot wait.
