25th November 2020

Goodwood SpeedWeek presented by Mastercard was awesome wasn’t it? All the incredible cars on the track stream and the brilliant videos that the production team put together for the SpeedWeek stream just made for an intoxicating few days. But now, a little over a month later, we reckon we can go even better – with the SpeedWeek Ultimate Stream!

What is the Ultimate Stream? I hear you ask. Well, quite simply, it is the very best bits from both streams, curated into one three-day extravaganza. That’s right, this is every single practice session and race and all the demos, rally stage and Dirftkhana runs PLUS all the best films and videos from the SpeedWeek stream.

The GRR team knew that your (and let’s be honest, our) withdrawal symptoms after SpeedWeek would be strong, so planned a restream at some point later in the year, but the UK’s latest lockdown, and the tougher restrictions incoming, made us bring that forward, to give us all something to enjoy during these hard times.

Just like a vaccine, we hope this brings you some hope in a difficult situation, with a never before seen mixture of racing, explorations of the history of motorsport, interviews with stars of track and screen and more over three days.

We will begin streaming day one at 3pm GMT on Friday (27th November), and stream for the next seven-and-a-half hours, with the day finishing off with not just the into-dusk Gerry Marshall Trophy presented by Sure, but some night rallying action from the incredible SpeedWeek Super Special – the first ever stage rally held by Goodwood. Other highlights of the first day include an exploration of the history of NASCAR, awesome supercar debuts, a chat with Keanu Reeves and supercar debuts galore.

Day two kicks off on Saturday (28th November) at the slightly earlier time of 2pm GMT, and continues for nearly nine hours of incredible action. The second day’s highlights include the mighty into-night Stirling Moss memorial Trophy, qualifying for the Timed Shootout presented by Mastercard, our first Driftkhana heats and a wonderful demonstration of 70 years of Formula 1. Away from the track we’ll tell the story of the ‘Gang of Four’ drivers who competed for the F1 crown in 1986 and test out the latest supercar from Lamborghini.

Finally, Sunday (29th November) will see an incredible climax to the weekend, kicking off at 2pm GMT for over eight-and-a-half hours of action. This includes F1, the mighty S.F. Edge Trophy and Gerry Marshall Sprint presented by Sure, a look at the future of mobility, a race between a Formula E car, drone and electric bike and finally the culminations of the weekend – the Timed Shootout final and RAC TT Celebration.
