Incredible supercars to debut at SpeedWeek

Yes, the long-awaited American hypercar and contender to the top speed throne is crossing the Atlantic to take to the Motor Circuit and take on other ultra-exclusive rivals. Contrasting its 1,750PS+ 5.9-litre V8 will be a home-grown rebuttal, the 2,000PS all-electric Lotus Evija hypercar, which will be seen driving in public for the first time at SpeedWeek. Rounding off the unobtainable boutique beauties will be the Koenigsegg Regera and McLaren Elva, each packing twin-turbo V8 power. The Koenigsegg will be seen locking horns with the SSC both during the Michelin Supercar Run and the flat-out SpeedWeek Shootout presented by Mastercard.

McLaren’s latest track athlete, the 765LT, will also be in attendance, freshly thrashed by the world’s journalists and ready for an attack on Goodwood. It will join Ferrari and Lamborghini’s latest mid-engined supercar entries, the F8 Tributo and Huracan EVO RWD.

Of course, McLaren and Lotus won’t be holding down the fort alone. Aston Martin and Jaguar will be bringing their latest hottest two-seaters, the new Vantage Roadster, and the new F-Type R. Both will also be bringing their latest SUVs, with the all-new DBX and updated F-Pace PHEV supporting.

Got a third of a million pounds just itching to be spent on a flowing V12 drop-top GT? Fear not. Ferrari’s screaming 800PS 812 GTS will be putting its fastest foot forward, as well as Aston Martin’s DBS Volante. The 812 joins the F8 Tributo, F8 Spider, Roma and the ultra-exclusive Monza in Ferrari’s SpeedWeek stable.

Of course the German power houses will be showing face. Porsche’s offering has never been so diverse, with the all-electric all-new Taycan joining the brand new 650PS 992 911 Turbo S. Both will see you past 62mph in under three seconds when prompted. They’ll join the new Panamera 4S E-Hybrid, Cayenne GTS Coupe and 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 at SpeedWeek. BMW will be premiering its new M440i xDrive Coupe, alongside its fresh-faced chisel-jawed M5. Audi has the special edition ‘Green Hell’ R8 to show off too. Guess which circuit that’s named after?

As above, at the more affordable end of the spectrum, Ford’s exciting new Puma ST will be getting its world debut alongside a pair of new Mustangs, the all-electric Mach-E and the hot new Mach-1. Even the 5.0-litre V8 of the Mach-1 won’t be able to fend off the 1,400PS RTR drift variant of the Mach-E, though...

Toyota will be bringing its Supra sportscar, and incredible GR Yaris homologation special hot hatch. The latter will have none other than Toyota’s WRC ace Elfyn Evans behind the wheel on dynamic debut duties. Lexus will also be bringing its all-new LC Convetible, with its sweet-sounding 5.0-litre naturally aspirated V8 engine.
