The second day of Goodwood's first ever SpeedWeek presented by Mastercard had basically everything a motorsport fan could wish for. From wheel-to-wheel open wheel racing to a bit of panel-rubbing touring car racing, via stunning GT endurance motorsport and even drift.
Goodwood even invented a new form of motorsport, combining sprint racing with drift to form Driftkhana. This invited both drifting stars and those from the world of rallying to compete around a specially-made course judged both by the stopwatch and on style.
The highlights above include the whole lot, but are topped off by an emotional end to the day as we said goodbye to Mr Goodwood and Mr Motor Racing himself – Sir Stirling Moss. Not only did we rename the Kinrara Trophy – the Revival's stunning into-the-night race for '60s GTs – in his honour, but Mark Kopfler himself helped us to celebrate his life. It was an incredible day.
