Yesterday, we looked back at SpeedWeek presented by Mastercard’s unique Driftkhana, and today, we’re throwing it back to another Goodwood first, the incredible Rally Super Special.
Unfolding on five specially created stages on and around the Goodwood Motor Circuit, the Super Special welcomed legends including WRC stars Elfyn Evans and Jari-Matti Latvala, who ran as the 'zero' cars in the brand-new Toyota GR Yaris.
Legendary historic Group A and B cars competed alongside more moder rally challengers. Among the classic cohort were a clutch of Audi Quattros, MG Metro 6R4s, Peugeot 205 T16s, Ford RS200s, Toyota Celicas, Lancia Stratos, Ford Escorts and Lancia Delta S4s, while on the modern side there were several of the very latest R5 WRC2 cars. Through day and night the cars ran, with the drivers among the first to view Goodwood from a completely different angle. And now you can relive the Rally Super Special, with this three-hour compilation of the best moments from the weekend.
