And just like that, the end of the weekend is nigh, so we’re taking a look back at some of the best bits from the 79th Goodwood Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport. We’ve seen action from cars spanning almost a century of motoring history, from 1920s Bugatti Type 35s to a 2017 Nissan GT-R drift car.
But at every turn the sights and sounds have filled the soul of motoring enthusiasts from start to finish. Of course, the V10 Era F1 demonstration and Group C Porsches stole all the headlines, but who could ignore the drama of the Graham Hill Trophy, or indeed the traditional Gerry Marshall Sprint finale as the sun set on the 79th Members’ Meeting for the last time.
We also saw the first ever tandem drift event at the Goodwood Motor Circuit, while the classic saloon car racing in the Sopwith Cup brought a hugely enjoyable duel between enormous Jaguars and tiny Austin A35s.
At the end of it all, we’ve thoroughly enjoyed this weekend, and we hope you did, too. Here’s to plenty more fantastic action at Goodwood for the remainder of 2022.
