Meet Mike Skinner. He's American. He was a NASCAR driver for more than two decades. He likes to shred tyres. Or so it seemed at the 75th Members' Meeting.
Skinner is as experienced a NASCAR driver as you could hope to find. He totted up 52 races in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and a whopping 286 races in the NASCAR Cup Series. He also won the inaugural NASCAR Truck Series (the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series to give it its full title) in 1995, collecting 28 wins over 17 years. Essentially he knows how to steer a NASCAR without binning it into a wall. Good thing really, considering his antics at 75MM.
He didn’t just shred his tyres, he did a brake stand whilst simultaneously removing the steering wheel to wave it out of the window to the applauding crowds. Mike Skinner, we salute you.
