Tickets are very nearly sold out, and the cars will be arriving on site in a matter of weeks. Testing is under way and you’ll soon be able to see and hear unsilenced racing cars on track at Goodwood. But how do you watch the event if you can’t be here? Well let us tell you now.
The whole event, from the first moment the cars go out on track on Saturday to the finale on Sunday evening, will be broadcast live exclusively on Goodwood Road & Racing for members of the GRRC community. As well as the main live stream, there will also be an exclusive no-commentary live stream for those who want to just hear the sound of the cars in action.
Goodwood Road & Racing will host a series of video clips of the best moments of the weekend, plus race highlights and exclusive features and galleries from the weekend.
A selection of live races, practices and demonstrations on both days will be broadcast live on Goodwood’s Facebook, YouTube and Twitter pages and this will be complemented by full race highlights and video clips from throughout the weekend.
Yes, Goodwood Radio will be available all weekend on 87.7FM at the circuit and on goodwood.com to listen to all the action and analysis live.
Members of the GRRC community will be able to watch full races and full days from 78MM, as well as selected onboard cameras from the races.
ITV4 will broadcast an as-live show of action from Sunday afternoon on Sunday evening (immediately following action from the BTCC) at 6:15pm. There will also be a highlights show on ITV at 8pm on April 2nd.
GRRC stands for ‘Goodwood Road Racing Club’, founded by the Duke of Richmond 21 years ago. The club offers full Members exclusive privileges across the Goodwood Estate and a year-round calendar of events. These benefits include access to the Kennels clubhouse, exclusive club-only areas at the Festival of Speed and Revival, and sought-after paddock passes at the Revival, and events include the Summer and Christmas Balls, Autosolos, track days, factory tours and much more.
Because the GRRC is much sought-after, and Membership numbers are capped to maintain exclusivity, there is a waiting list. In 2017, however, the GRRC Fellowship was launched to give those on the waiting list a taste of full Membership. Whether you’re a Member or a Fellow, you’re able to enjoy other year-round Goodwood benefits, including access to Festival of Speed and Revival tickets ahead of general sale, exclusive monthly documentaries, access to 25 years of digital motorsport archives, and being part of the Goodwood motorsport community of like-minded enthusiasts, as well as ticket and live stream access for the 78th Members’ Meeting.
This year’s Members’ Meeting is set to be one of the best ever. With three incredible demonstrations celebrating the Lotus 72 and its Formula 1 contemporaries, TWR’s incredible Jaguar XJR machines and our first Rally Sprint. Plus there’s an amazing selection of races for Group 1 touring cars, Edwardian monsters, bikes, sportscars, GTs and an into-dusk two-driver race for just V8 saloons.
If all of that sounds too good to miss don’t worry, you can join the Fellowship for just £39 per year. To find out more about the GRRC Fellowship and discover all the benefits, click here.
