Moby Dick may have attracted the lion's share of attention, but it was far from the only car at Members' Meeting to keep Porsche fans happy.
Three grids were the focus of Stuttgart action. The Group 5 high speed demonstration featured the famous Moby Dick, and also a host of other Porsche 935s in both factory and Kremer forms. There was also a 924 GTP, a car that leapfrogs the stock 944 for wide-arched presence.
The Gurney Cup featured the delightfully nimble 906 and 910, the mid-engined sports racers. Meanwhile, the earlier 904 was a feature of the Ronnie Hoare Trophy, along with that Porsche staple, the 911. In the Moss Trophy, there was a lone 356 taking on a field of younger sportscars.
