The 10 biggest sellers in the Bonhams|Cars 81MM sale

The Bonhams|Cars sale at the 81st Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport saw a selection of wonderful cars find new owners for some impressive sale figures. In total, the top ten sellers collected over £2million as they crossed the block. Let’s break down the highlights.

The big star seller was the McLaren-Mercedes SLR ‘Crown Edition’. This specially-prepared, MSO-fettled example is certainly distinctive but came with little but run-in miles on the odometer. For someone interested in the SLR’s rising star in the modern classic supercar space, this was a clear winner, clearly, given it sold for £425,500 including its premium.

72 years its senior was the Frazer Nash TT Replica Roadster, which sold for £276,000 including premium. Coming in wonderful condition and benefitting from long-term careful storage, the restorative work completed in 2025 remains unsullied almost ten years on.

Some highlights for us? From within the top-ten sellers, the 2006 Ferrari 575 SuperAmerica, which sold for £189,750 including premium. This stunning modern-era V12 roadster is perhaps Ferrari’s last truly pretty front-engined V12 GT. 

But it’s nothing like the bargain that the 2007 Aston Martin Vanquish S was, given it sold for just over £89,000, having had the £60,000 works manual conversion.
