The Gerry Marshall Trophy Final was a tumultuous race that saw cars failing, sliding, spinning, bumping and even getting up on two wheels. The key battle of the race for the top spot, between Fords from both sides of the pond.
In a tense 15-minute battle both had dalliances with the grass and even the barriers as they tested each other’s nerve in braking, turn-in and track limits. Meanwhile Tom Shephard did his best Terry Grant impression on two wheels in his Scirocco and a Vauxhall expired flooding the track in steam. It was a fun-filled race and a great way to end the Members’ Meeting weekend activities.
