The Graham Hill Trophy rumbled into life to the sount of everything from a four-cylinder Lotus Elan to a big-banging Bizzarini 5300GT. The variety of cars was something to behold, the theme tying them together being that they were all GT cars that raced at Goodwood from 1960 to 1966.
When the flag dropoped, the sight and sound of everything from a Lotus Elan to a Bizzarrini 5300GT piled into Madgwick. Our highlights video includes some on-baord footage as we join Nicky Pastorelli scything his way through the field. Together with co-driver James Cottingham, they ended up fourth on the grid.
They were beaten to the podium by two AC Cobras and a TVR Griffith. The best overtaking move of the race was by Mike Jordan who daringly went around the outside of the Gans/Wolfe Cobra to take a very deserving victory.
It's all in the highlights video above.
