Mike Edwards worked his magic, pulling a massive lead on the pursuing Nigel Palmer, Michael Russell and Glen English – the latter finishing over a minute later! Mike Hawthorne’s Yamaha met an unfortunate end, just one lap before the race’s conclusion. You can catch the action in the full race video above.
