There’s all sorts of racing cars to be found at the Goodwood Motor Circuit through the year. From the tiniest of slimline sportscars to the mightiest of V8 muscle. And then, then there’s the Bentleys of the 1920s.
Like Martin Overington’s incredible 4.5-litre ‘blower’, which raced last year at 77MM. This giant might look completely different to the Minis, Alfa Romeos and suchlike that compete in other races at Member’s Meeting. But that doesn’t mean that the driver treats it any differently! In fact Martin was showing no mercy to his big steed as he attempted to set a fast time in practice for the John Duff Trophy. Could you drive a 100-year-old Bentley with quite the same wanton abandon?
