Video: Driver Walks Away From Scary Cobra Shunt

The Graham Hill Trophy during The 74th Members’ Meeting was action packed and eventful enough, with the likes of lightweight Jaguar E-Types, Ginettas and TVRs slithering around the Goodwood Motor Circuit. The quality of racing was exceptional, with James Cottingham and Andrew Smith on the limits of adhesion in a bid for glory in their Daytona Cobras.

Sadly things went a bit pear shaped for Karsten Le Blanc when the throttle on his AC Cobra stuck fully open on the way through Fordwater, toward St Mary's. Thankfully the long nose of the Cobra along with the tyre barrier absorbed the brunt of the impact forces with the cockpit escaping largely unscathed.
