We can't think of a selection of cars that would be more alien to drive around a rain-soaked Goodwood Motor Circuit than the pre-war weapons of the S.F. Edge Trophy. Of course, pre-war is to rather understate their age. Some of these pre-date the first world war by two decades.
Watch, as this monster Theophile Schneider Aero does its very best to get away from Hughie Walker on the way through Madgwick. With parts of the track drying, grip rises and falls, with particularly wet patches speering the car sideways in a nigh-on backwards entry. The Walker-Aero combo could give the Driftkhana boys and girls a run for their money.
