There's a point at which you just have to accept that, before decades of development, the Porsche 911 used to be a bit of a pendulum.
Sat on skinny tyres, with no weight at the front and everything out back, they were liable to go round at the slightest provocation. Which means that when you handle them properly they slide beautifully. Which is just what's happening in this clip from the 73rd Goodwood Members' Meeting.
