The 2.3-mile Goodwood Motor Circuit may see the bulk of the action at Members' Meeting, but the rally cars weren't going to be constrained by convention and tyre walls.
For the first public Super Special presented by Cooper Tires, the rally cars had their own route, and it included narrow strawbale-lined service roads on the perimeter of the circuit. Here are the top ten runs. Watch as a mix of machinery, including Group B and WRX cars, tackle the stage in spectacular sideways style.
