With six years of the modern Members’ Meeting, there’s plenty of action to sift through when it comes to finding the five best battles. Tricky though it is (and it is really demanding, watching hours of great racing with a cup of tea or five), we thing we’ve done it.
The first is Richard Woolmer and James Colburn at the 75th Members’ meeting, both at the wheels of very spritely Sprites. The second is the double Mustang brawl between Steve Soper and Craig Davies, again at 75MM. The third is a Porsche 911 fight, courtesy of Ambrogio Perfetti and Mark Bates at the 76th Members’ Meeting. The fourth is a fun one, a three-way tussle with cars that pre-date the Second World War from the 74MM, and the fifth battle is one between Emanuele Pirro in a Ferrari 250 GT Breadvan against two seriously fast E-types at 76MM. Would you put these battles in your top five?
