Daniel Ricciardo will be gracing the famous Hillclimb at the 2019 Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard, and will be joined by other current Formula 1 drivers Valtteri Bottas, Antonio Giovinazzi, Carlos Sainz Jr., Lando Norris and Alexander Albon.
The former Red Bull and Toro Rosso driver, who has attended the Festival once before, in 2012, will be making the trip to Goodwood on Sunday 7th July, confirming his attendance with a personal video message.
Also confirmed from the current F1 grid Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas, due to pilot the 2017 Mercedes-Benz F1 W08 EQ, Alfa Romeo driver Antonio Giovinazzi, driving the 2013 Sauber C32, McLaren drivers Carlos Sainz Jr. and Brit’ Lando Norris, both of whom will be piloting a mighty Can-Am McLaren M8D, and Thai Torro Rosso star Alexander Albon, who’ll be driving the all-electric Honda e.
As for current Formula 1 teams, you’ll see F1 machinery on the hill from Mercedes, Ferrari, Renault and Red Bull, as well as static displays from Williams, Alfa Romeo and McLaren.
Alongside current talent you'll find Rubens Barrichello behind the wheel of the Brawn BGP-001 he raced alongside Jenson Button in the 2009 F1 season, the car that won Brawn GP the constructor's title and Button the drivers' crown. You'll see a number of other F1 legends, including Rene Arnoux, Emerson Fittipaldi, Mika Hakkinen, Nick Heidfeld, Damon Hill, Jochen Mass, Ray Mallock, Karun Chandhok and, of course, Sir Jackie Stewart. F1 design heroes Adrian Newey and Ross Brawn will also be in attendance.
