Gallery: Prototype variety flat-out at HSR Classic 24

10th November 2017

Whatever your chosen flavour of sportscar racing – WEC, ILMC, IMSA or otherwise – the head of the pack has always been the prototype. Low-slung, swooping aero, bulbous lighting and physics-defying pace.

Whether you’re in a Daytona Prototype, an LMP or anything in between at HSR Classic 24 at Daytona, if you’re committed, you’re taking those steep bankings at 150mph on average at the very least.

The list of cars taking to the Speedway this year is near-on infinitely numerous. Prototypes from all eras and disciplines are rippling the Daytona asphalt  Audi R8 meets Corvette DP is a celebration of a diverse breed. What’s your pick of the prototypes for a flat-out flying lap of Daytona?
